Asia Prime Finance Product Controller - Analyst

As a Product Control Analyst, you will support the Prime Finance business, which offers flexible financing solutions and enables clients to create short exposure through securities lending. Your work will be crucial in providing secured funding and maintaining robust financial controls, partnering with trading desks and financial controllers to ensure accurate P&L and balance sheet management.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processes
- Produce, consolidate, and analyze daily, monthly, and yearly P&L information
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Drive coordination across front & back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues
- Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
- Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Strong accounting background(Atleast 2 years experience)
- Experience with P&L and month-end close processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities along with being detail-oriented
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Must be a team player
- Eager to challenge current processes
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in Prime Finance or Equities product control
- Exposure to securities lending or synthetic products
- Familiarity with financial controls in a banking environment
- Project management experience
- Advanced Excel or data analysis skills
- Experience working with senior management
- Ability to drive process improvements
