Asia Equity Derivatives Product Control - Vice President
Join the Asia Equity Derivatives Product Control team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and risk reporting with robust controls. You'll partner closely with Front Office and key control functions to drive continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
As a VP in the Asia Equity Derivatives Product Control team, you will own the daily P&L and risk reporting process, balance sheet oversight, and month-end procedures, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and well-controlled. You will support and coach the team through issues, strengthen reconciliation controls, and develop people and processes. You will also provide analytical insight and commentary to senior stakeholders and drive enhancements across reporting and control frameworks.
Job responsibilities
- Manage the production, preparation, and reporting of daily P&L and risk in an efficient, controlled manner.
- Oversee balance sheet processes and month-end procedures for the business.
- Ensure adherence to Product Control Minimum Standards and proactively track/report related metrics to senior management.
- Partner with the wider business to implement robust controls and deliver strategic initiatives.
- Provide detailed analysis and financial commentary to desk heads, business managers, and senior Finance management.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Market Risk, and other control functions to resolve reporting/control issues accurately and on time.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements to meet evolving systems and business requirements.
- Drive key projects and initiatives within Product Control and contribute to larger cross-business programs.
- Coach and develop team members, strengthening capabilities and ensuring consistent execution of reconciliations and controls.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience with P&L reporting and/or risk reporting within a Product Control context
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a clear control mindset.
- Good understanding of Equity Derivatives and associated product risks.
- Multiple years of people management experience, with a track record of developing individuals and building teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
- Strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, and Tableau.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience partnering closely with trading desks and senior management in a fast-paced markets environment.
- Demonstrated success delivering process improvements/automation across P&L, risk, or balance sheet control processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
