Argentina Senior Markets Sales - Vice President

We are seeking an experienced senior professional to join the Markets Sales team in Argentina. The role requires a deep understanding of local financial markets, with a particular focus on Argentine regulatory frameworks, FX market dynamics, and cross-border transaction constraints. Background in COMEX department is a plus. The candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing markets transactions across FX, rates, and fixed income products, while ensuring full compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients in Argentina and the region
- Originate and execute transactions across: FX, Interest rates products, Fixed income and credit
- Provide tailored solutions aligned with client objectives and market conditions
- Act as a trusted advisor on local market structure and regulatory constraints, including: BCRA regulations, Cross-border payment and settlement restrictions, Local ccy vs. hard ccy structures
- Partner with Trading, Structuring, Corporate Banking, and Compliance teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Monitor market developments and proactively communicate insights to clients
- Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with internal risk, legal, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5-10+ years of experience in Markets Sales, Trading, Structuring, or Corporate Coverage
- Deep knowledge of: Argentine financial markets, FX regulations (COMEX), and capital controls. Local regulatory framework (Central Bank, CNV, etc.)
- Experience dealing with regulatory-driven transactions and complex documentation
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Fluency in Spanish and English
