As an APAC Treasury and Chief Investment Office Business Manager - Executive Director in the Treasury and Chief Investment Office team, you will lead strategic business initiatives and drive operational priorities across Asia Pacific. You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions, enhance risk and control frameworks, and support the growth and resilience of our business. You will be empowered to make decisions, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing strategic insights and guidance
  • Lead the implementation of business initiatives and ad hoc projects, including managing the New Business Initiative Approval process
  • Drive business management priorities and maintain comprehensive documentation, focusing on front office operations
  • Collaborate with the treasury teams, and relevant stakeholders and control functions to evaluate and review business initiatives
  • Represent the business at operational committees, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Participate in control agendas and work with risk management groups to maintain a robust business control environment
  • Enhance control and processing frameworks in partnership with Technology, Operations, Middle Office, and Finance

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in business management or related roles
  • Comprehensive knowledge of products across banking and markets businesses
  • In-depth understanding of liquidity risk, structural interest rate risk, and funds transfer pricing
  • Strong control mindset and exceptional analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • CPA or CFA credentials or other professional qualifications from reputable training institutes or professional bodies
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Proven ability to drive strategic priorities and manage complex documentation
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with senior leaders and committees
  • Experience in enhancing control and processing frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
