APAC Payments Transformation & Execution - Vice President

As a Vice President in the APAC Payments Transformation & Execution team, you will be instrumental in advancing our Global Payments business by driving change and execution excellence across Asia. Our team leads and executes projects that align with strategic goals of the Payments Business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our product and client agenda meets global and regional priorities. This is an opportunity to utilize your expertise in project management, process optimization, and technology integration to deliver innovative solutions, enhance client experience, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities
• Own delivery and outcomes for high-impact Payments transformation programs spanning digitization, operating model redesign, sales enablement, process improvement, regulatory and risk-driven change, and organizational restructuring.
• Translate strategic priorities into execution by building integrated roadmaps, milestone plans, and dependency maps; establish clear success metrics (commercial, client, efficiency, and control) and change/adoption plans to ensure outcomes stick.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and governance at senior levels; facilitate decision-making, manage trade-offs, remove blockers, and ensure delivery against committed timelines and objectives.
• Advance AI/ML and automation-enabled change by identifying and prioritizing high-value use cases and partnering with Technology to deliver scalable improvements in efficiency, client experience, and operational excellence.
• Develop robust business cases and measurable success metrics, translating strategic priorities into clear scope, benefits, cost estimates, and delivery roadmaps.
• Operate with strong risk, regulatory, and control discipline: ensure solutions meet client needs while satisfying applicable policies, control standards, and regulatory expectations across jurisdictions; proactively manage operational, conduct, and delivery risks.
• Partner and influence at senior levels across Product, Sales, Client Service, Implementation, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Controls to align priorities and execution; coordinate handoffs, ensure readiness across the client lifecycle, and deliver measurable improvements in revenue outcomes, client experience, efficiency, and control environment.

• Build high-performing delivery capability by setting standards for execution rigor (OKRs/KPIs), coaching teams, and continuously improving ways of working across locations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Bachelor degree in Finance or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of experience in transaction banking (Payments/Transaction Banking) in transaction banking (Payments / Transaction Banking) with progressive responsibility in transformation, program delivery, product, or consulting/advisory roles.
• Demonstrated record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder transformations end-to-end with measurable outcomes (commercial, client, efficiency, and control).
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through ambiguity; strong judgment in framing decisions, managing trade-offs, and driving accountability without direct authority.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to synthesize into clear executive narratives.
• Strong execution discipline: portfolio planning, dependency/critical path management, benefits realization, and risk/control management in a regulated environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• APAC market experience, , including familiarity with regional payment practices and regulatory expectations across key markets.
• Experience delivering AI/ML and automation initiatives (e.g., process automation, intelligent workflow, analytics-enabled decisioning) in a regulated environment.
• Experience with digital/analytics tools such as Alteryx.
