As an APAC Financial Crimes Compliance KYC Policy Vice President within the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) team, your role will involve supporting the management of the Firm's KYC Policy and Strategy in APAC. You will focus on the ongoing maintenance of the Global KYC Standard to address business growth, regulatory changes and emerging financial crime risks. You will further develop the Firm's KYC program, work with global business and compliance stakeholders across lines of business (LOBs) on KYC matters, and ensure KYC requirements are properly assessed, implemented and maintained with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. You will also involve a high level of flexibility and resiliency for executing strategic initiatives and policy writing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead APAC KYC regulatory change management and own updates to policy, standards, and related requirements end to end-assessing impacts, preparing materials, securing decisions through global governance structures, and driving timely implementation aligned to local requirements and the Firm's Global KYC Standard.
  • Partner with country MLROs and stakeholders across GFCC, businesses, and global counterparts to interpret updates, harmonize jurisdiction-specific requirements, coordinate adoption plans, and deliver results.
  • Enhance the APAC KYC program for emerging risks by updating standards and delivering training as applicable.
  • Serve as the APAC KYC subject matter expert, providing independent, credible challenge to LOBs to ensure risk-based decisions, regulatory adherence, and effective escalation/remediation.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with business and compliance stakeholders across APAC; serve as a bridge to global teams and global strategies to ensure consistent standards with regional nuance.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 6 years AML/BSA/KYC Compliance or other related experience such as Risk management or similar Risk or Control-related experience
  • Ability to work both independently and as a core team member with immediate team outside of their region
  • Flexibility for evening meetings to collaborate with managers and team across the globe
  • Strong understanding of risk and controls
  • Proven analytical skills, experience with strategic projects
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and consistently produce high quality work
  • Possess strong written and oral communications skills with ability to influence business and compliance stakeholders
  • Experience in a KYC or financial crime role
  • Bachelor's degree
