Scientific Affairs Summer Intern - Interventional Oncology

We are looking for a Summer Intern based in New Brunswick (or remote).The position will support critical scientific affairs activity for one of our late-stage assets with a head and neck cancer indication. The intern will conduct assessments on disease burden, guidelines, treatment patterns and unmet need which will form the backbone of our scientific imperatives and evidence generation strategies. The assessments will also provide a foundation for educational and training materials on the product and disease state for internal and external collaborators.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature review to understand and evaluate unmet need, treatment patterns, guidelines, and burden of illness.
- Evaluate completed and upcoming clinical trials in the space to help refine our scientific affairs strategy.
- Collaborate with internal data science and RWE teams to generate additional insights and explore use of GenAI for efficient and impactful scientific affairs deliverables.
Qualifications
- The candidate must be currently enrolled in a PharmD program or related field.
- Knowledge base in oncology and treatment modalities in clinical practice.
- Experience in conducting literature reviews, evaluating clinical/RWE studies, preparing disease overview decks/documents.
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills to clearly articulate problems, solutions, and concepts to a diverse team is required.
