Job Summary:

The Test Technician I at Jabil, Inc. performs basic electrical, mechanical, and functional tests on products, components, or systems to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. This role supports manufacturing operations by identifying defects and assisting with troubleshooting under direct supervision.

Job Responsibilities:


Perform routine functional and in-process tests on electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, and finished products using established procedures and test equipment.
Document test results accurately and completely, identifying and reporting any deviations or failures.
Operate and maintain basic test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and specialized test fixtures.
Assist in basic troubleshooting and fault isolation to the component level under the guidance of a senior technician or engineer.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and improve test processes.
Participate in training activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new products or procedures.
Adhere to Jabil's quality management system and standard operating procedures.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment, preferably in a testing capacity.
Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and test methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and work instructions.
Proficiency with basic hand tools and test equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
