Velocity Electronics, a Jabil company, is looking for a hands-on Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer based in Austin, Texas, to support and strengthen our global technology environment. This role is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting modern cloud and security platforms, and working across a smaller company with a global footprint.

In this position, you will help manage and improve the systems that keep our business running, including network infrastructure, Microsoft cloud services, cybersecurity tools, endpoint platforms, telecom services, servers, and global site technology. You will work closely with internal teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable IT services.

What You Will Do

• Support global network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, telecom services, and monitoring tools.
• Administer and support Microsoft cloud, identity, endpoint, and security platforms, including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Microsoft 365, and Teams Phone.
• Monitor infrastructure, endpoint, identity, and cybersecurity alerts and assist with response, investigation, and remediation activities.
• Support IT audits, SOX controls, security reviews, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with telecom, internet, cloud, cybersecurity, software, and infrastructure vendors for service setup, troubleshooting, renewals, and ongoing support.
• Assist with office moves, infrastructure deployments, global site support, service provider transitions, and technology rollout activities.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for servers, endpoints, remote access tools, phones, business applications, and infrastructure-related support issues.

• 10 years IT experience with 5+ concentration in network, cloud, systems, infrastructure, or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience supporting multi-site or global infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Microsoft cloud, identity, endpoint, and security technologies.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability management, audit support, and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% to support global sites and infrastructure projects.

• Experience supporting smaller or mid-sized companies with global operations.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar.
• Experience with SOC workflows, SIEM or log monitoring, Nagios, Linux/Unix systems, and specialized compliance requirements.
