QA Technician I

Jabil, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to perform quality inspections and testing of products and processes, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process and final inspections of products according to quality control plans and specifications.
Perform various tests on materials, components, and finished goods using appropriate equipment and methodologies.
Document inspection and test results accurately and completely, identifying and reporting any non-conformances.
Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Support the development and revision of quality control documentation, including work instructions and inspection procedures.
Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
