Job Summary

The Production Planning Jr. Engineer will support the planning and scheduling of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient material flow and production execution to meet customer demands. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic global manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of production plans and schedules, considering material availability, capacity constraints, and customer requirements.
Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks, escalating issues to senior planners and proposing solutions.
Support the analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material movements, and inventory levels.
Participate in inventory management activities, including demand forecasting and material planning.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.
Prepare reports and presentations on production planning metrics and performance.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain principles (internship or project experience preferred).
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in production planning and scheduling.
