Mechanical Design Engineer (Mid/Senior) [f/m]

WORK MODEL
Hybrid work model: first month fully office-based (Wrocław), followed by a gradual transition to hybrid; after onboarding - 2 days remote / 3 days in the office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and validate electronic enclosure and chassis designs.
- Support mechanical layout design (including PCB integration) using 3D CAD tools.
- Contribute to design of server/storage/networking systems with limited supervision.
- Collaborate with system architects to translate requirements into design specifications.
- Build and test prototypes to ensure fit, form and functionality.
- Cooperate with external suppliers and manufacturers.
- Communicate technical topics clearly and incorporate feedback into designs.
- Support development of thermal solutions and heat management concepts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or related area.
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles (e.g. DFM, DFA, tolerance analysis).
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo).
- Basic knowledge of mechanical calculations.
- Experience with common manufacturing processes (e.g. sheet metal, plastics, machining).
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in thermal management of electronic systems (air and/or liquid cooling).
- Knowledge of heat exchangers, cold plates, and basic fluid dynamics.
- Exposure to thermal or CFD simulations and interpretation of results.
OTHER
- Occasional travel (up to 10%).
