The Machine Operator II will set up, operate, and maintain production machinery to manufacture high-quality products according to specifications and production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and quality standards within a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities
Operate and monitor various production machines, including setup, adjustments, and minor repairs, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment to minimize downtime and extend machine life.
Monitor production processes, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or product defects promptly.
Load and unload materials and components into machines, ensuring correct placement and orientation.
Conduct in-process quality checks, inspect finished products for defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, output, and quality data.
Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production goals.
Identify and suggest improvements to machine operation, safety, or quality processes.
Assist with training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures as needed.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field is a plus.
4+ years of experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer proficiency for data entry and machine interface operation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime, as required.
