IT Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring efficient and reliable technology infrastructure and support for Jabil's operations. This role involves supervising a team of IT professionals, managing projects, and implementing IT strategies to meet business needs.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of IT technicians and specialists, including performance management and professional development.
Manage IT support operations, desktop support, and network infrastructure maintenance.
Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and implement solutions.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Ensure the security and integrity of Jabil's IT systems and data.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures in line with company objectives and industry best practices.
Manage vendor relationships and procurement of IT equipment and services.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalation support.
Prepare and present IT performance reports to management.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewalls), operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), and virtualization technologies.

Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
Proven ability to manage IT projects from conception to completion.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
