Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Quality Business Process Analyst will play an integral role as part of the Product Quality team by combining data analysis and visualization with hands-on continuous improvement project management support for engineering, operations and process teams. The scope of this role is organization-wide, and it includes supporting on-going governance, coordinating cross-functional projects, and implementing dashboards that track key performance measures and drive business insights for continuous improvement.

Essential Job Duties

  • Establish a foundational understanding of and partnership with assigned business functions
  • Develop, maintain and enhance operational dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Excel
  • Delivers measurable business process improvement
  • Directly leads, supports, or facilitates cross functional continuous improvement projects
  • Monitor and develop reports for project progress, risk and roadblocks
  • Aids process owners in the implementation of improvements; assist in collecting and organizing data to support business process insights
  • Establish and enhance sustaining practices (e.g., dashboard standards, project governance)
  • Facilitates the spread of a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical, operational or project support role
  • Strong interest in quality systems, business process improvement and/or project management
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel)
  • Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards
  • Experience with SQL or other query tools; ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
  • Strong written, oral and group presentation skills
  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously
  • Effectively collaborates while deferring to expertise in workgroups, project teams, and on improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrates accountability, effectively builds trust, and develops positive relationships across the organization.
  • Follows through on commitments and communicates updates or issues to stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities with attention to detail
  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire for continuous improvement

Required Education and Training

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (MBA or other master’s degree is a plus)

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Six Sigma Blackbelt Certified by an accredited body or equivalent. e.g., ASQ.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.
