Job Description
Purpose:
The Production Controller & Supply Planner II supports the reprocessing manufacturing actives in the Service department. This position requires a detailed and creative individual, to support troubleshooting as well improvements, modifications. The position will also require working with various teams in Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Finance to meet forecast repair or build schedules This position requires basic analytical skills, detailed communication, along with being a team player, self-starter, and possessing a can-do attitude.

Essential Duties:
- Evaluate current process and recommend continuous improvement to evolve the process. This includes driving new product introduction schedules, resolving manufacturability issues, and driving improvements for cost and efficiency.
- Support department or organizational projects. Gain project team consensus, track/ monitor scope, scope changes, project plan timelines against phase review objectives, variances, and contingencies that surface during the implementation of projects. Escalate where necessary to management.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Engineering to review proposed changes and establish Engineering Change Order (ECO) affectivity. Execute ECO implementation requirements.
- Maintain and develop of department metrics; analyze trends and results. Drive appropriate corrective actions where needed.
- Develop and maintain countermeasures to address root causes for Work Order Error issues.
- Review and understand all production order processing operations in compliance with Quality and Inventory Control requirements
- Support UAT testing in ERP system
- Maintain accurate MRP (SAP) parameters for responsible product lines.
- Resolve work order variances and determine root cause.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a progressive manufacturing environment, 2-year degree preferred in Business Management, previous medical device manufacturing experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate in a regulated industry with working knowledge of ISO and regulatory restrictions.
- Understanding of business information systems, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Presents ideas effectively in formal and informal situations. Conveys thoughts clearly and concisely verbally and written communication.
- Ability to respond to detailed inquiries, and present information to groups and senior management.
- Analytical: critical thinker; strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail; due to the speed and rate of change occurring in this manufacturing environment, must be able to problem-solve and think independently.
- Flexible: adaptable and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Motivated: enthusiastic; strives for excellence; continually seeks to improve self and company; ability and strong desire to grow with the company; leads by example.
- APICS & Six Sigma certifications a plus.
