Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

• Works with Mfg. Training Leader and/or Manufacturing Trainer 3 to train and certify Assembly Technicians in documents/process for specific manufacturing cells according to the Training Plan from Manufacturing Department, in the form of on the job training (OJT), ensuring the effectiveness of training based on respective DOP/SOP.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Training Specialist/Supervisor for new documentation development.
• Work with Manufacturing Training Supervisor and Leader to identify opportunities for training processes improvement.
• Assess employee skills and provide feedback to management.
• Provide Training technical support to Manufacturing personnel and the production line as needed.
• Manage training and certification criteria and requirements.
• Train and Certify (Cross Training) as necessary to Manufacturing Trainers 1, Manufacturing Trainers 2 and Manufacturing Trainers 3 to comply with the training plan of Manufacturing department.

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements:

• 6+ Months of experience in production line.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to explain Training material to individuals and to effectively facilitate their learning process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A firm understanding of Demand Flow Technology/Lean Manufacturing concepts and disciplines.
• A firm understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Intuitive Surgical quality system requirements.
