Job Description
Primary Function of Position
The Director, Commercial Solutions – APAC, will lead the regional strategy, design, and execution of Intuitive’s commercial solutions enablement framework across the Asia Pacific region. This includes pricing governance, customer finance programs, tender excellence and quote-to-cash excellence. This leader will ensure that commercial processes and tools are scalable, compliant, and aligned with Intuitive’s global priorities—while supporting sustainable growth through data-driven insights and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and proven leadership experience in commercial operations. They will collaborate closely with APAC and global executive leadership to enable commercial success, strengthen customer partnerships, and accelerate adoption of Intuitive’s technologies across diverse healthcare markets in the region.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the APAC commercial solutions strategy in alignment with global objectives and regional business priorities.
• Lead regional pricing governance, financial structuring, and commercial operations to drive scalability and compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations to deliver efficient, customer-focused deal execution.
• Design and manage innovative customer finance programs tailored to diverse APAC markets to expand technology access.
• Oversee adoption and optimization of digital commercial tools (CPQ, CRM, analytics) for improved visibility and decision-making.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional team that supports pricing and commercial enablement excellence.
• Champion process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer and internal experiences.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on pricing trends, commercial performance, and market dynamics.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and key contributor to regional planning, market access, and business performance strategies.
Qualifications
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial operations, pricing, or customer finance, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven success leading regional or multi-country teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong expertise in pricing strategy, financial structuring, and value-based commercial models.
• Demonstrated experience with CPQ, CRM, and quote-to-cash systems.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in medical technology, capital equipment, or healthcare industries.
• Understanding of healthcare purchasing processes, reimbursement environments, and value-based care models.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with attention to operational execution.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, culturally diverse markets across APAC.
