Position Summary:  Sr Manager, PMO Lead

The Center of Excellence (CoE) sits within Intapp’s global Client Services organization and works across business units, business partners or product lines.  Comprised of highly skilled individuals and experts, who disseminate knowledge in an organization and share leading practices, we have leading-edge knowledge and competency. The PMO team contributes to the CoE through resourcing the Intapp Client Services Organization with repeatable, reusable and predictable best practices. 

 

Intapp requires a Senior Manager, PMO Lead to oversee and continue to mature its existing Project Management Methodology, including approaches to client & internal project functions. In this role the Senior Manager will assess opportunities for establishing efficiencies while maximizing Intapp’s ability to increase ACV and deliver customer satisfaction. The Sr Manager will be responsible for the deployment of long-term solutions for Services stakeholders, managing a pipeline of internal projects, and transitioning the current Intapp project management landscape to a include common tools, increased standardization and reusable resources. As part of the CoE leadership team, the Sr Manager will participate in CoE governance and be accountable to PMO success.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with CoE Leadership team to establish critical goals, or other key performance indicators, for the PMO and CoE. 
  • Manage CoE governance; facilitate cross-collaborative discussions with business units, product leaders, Operations and senior stakeholders across Intapp.  
  • Quantify CoE value position to the organization; maintain reports and progress trackers which visualize CoE performance and impacts at a project and portfolio level.
  • Direct the CoE Project Intake process, lead CoE Steering Committees and socialize approvals the Client Services Leadership team. 
  • Establish a trusted relationship with PMO stakeholders; foster a stakeholder experience by which the stakeholders are supported and eager to engage with the PMO. 
  • Own the PMO Project Roadmap; work with PMO FTE team on tasks related to scoping, planning, scheduling and coordination of internal programs, initiatives and projects. 
  • Manage the entire life cycle of process and methodology deployed by the PMO; ensuring successful design, build, test, launch practices followed by accurate training and measurement post-delivery. 
  • Support the design and implementation of cross-functional practices which increase effectiveness and efficiency through standardization, automation and processes that scale. 
  • Manage the FTE PMO team; provide leadership across a team of approximately 3 full time employees including career management & coaching, skills development, and communicating Intapp, Client Services and CoE strategies.  
  • Recruit & cross-manage CoE project contributors in collaboration with Client Services managers; establish delivery expectations of PMO contributors during their short-term appointment to a CoE project team. 
  • Engage in project work; support executive sponsored activities at the Intapp organization. 
  • Assessment and alignment of PMM and project delivery tools
  • Serve as a knowledge partner to GMs, Business Unit leads and Segment Leads
  • Diversification of processes for scalable deliveries across audiences, products and delivery method

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Project or Program Management
  • Experience in Project Management Office people management and cross-functional team leadership
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and negotiating with stakeholders in an environment where resources are not directly within your span of control
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic resource plan and budget
  • Experience in dynamic and fast-growing SaaS environments, Cloud Computing, System Integration, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security
  • Self-starter with a passion for execution and strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts and emerging technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to all staff.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • PMP, Prince or CCMP Certification
  • Experience operating within a matrixed organizational structure with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile management techniques
  • Experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), ISO27001 and other compliance programs                                        #LI-JS2
