As a People Function Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing People Function (HR) operational processes across the Autoimmunity group. In this hands-on position, you will lead the execution of day-to-day People operations ensuring compliance, safeguarding data integrity, and delivering exceptional employee support. Leveraging your digital expertise and process acumen, you will drive operational efficiency, harness technology to streamline workflows, and provide actionable insights that inform decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with great digital skills, a systems-thinker who knows HR compliance, and is passionate about continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

 

  • People Function Process Management: Oversee People Function administrative processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and regulatory documentation.

 

  • Compliance & Regulatory Programs: Administer workers’ compensation, ADA accommodations, immigration support, and leave programs in line with federal and state regulations.

 

  • Recruiting & Onboarding Support: Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, candidate scheduling and screening, offer preparation, and onboarding activities.

 

  • Data & Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to track People Function metrics and KPIs; maintain accurate employee data in ADP and SAP systems, prepare required reports and compliance documentation.

 

  • Digital Collaboration: Manage People Function and Employee content and workflows in SharePoint for improved visibility and communication.

 

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization; support audits, compliance needs and People programs.

 

  • Employee Relations: Provide Level 0–1 support and guidance on People policies and procedures to employees and managers, coordinating across total rewards COE groups for solutions.

 

  • Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO, FDA, and Environmental Health & Safety policies.

 

  • Global People Function Partnership: You will partner with our People Function operations, recruiting and business partner teams across the world to get work done, drive process change, and build overall value for the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field re-quired.
  • SHRM-CP or similar certification preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of HR operations or HR generalist experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR systems (ADP, SAP) and leverage digital tools specifically including Power BI and SharePoint,
  • Experience managing compliance-related processes such as leaves, accommodations, immigration, and workers’ compensation required.
  • Recruiting experience or exposure to full-cycle recruitment processes required.
  • Experience compiling detailed reports, including EEO and AAP preferred.
  • Experience interpreting and complying with HR regulations and labor laws required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly advantageous

Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.

 

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Requires a strong working knowledge of California and Federal employment regulations related to Immigration, ADA, CFRA, FMLA, FEHA, CA PFL and PSL, workers compensation.
  • Strong digital and analytical skills; ability to interpret HR data and KPIs

Travel Requrements:
