Position Summary:
The Supplier Engagement Consultant (SEC) will be responsible for managing the overall supplier population for Monument managed program(s). They will support from a contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA), program performance, and training perspective. The SPM may also occasionally be required to perform duties in line with those of account management (requisition management/fulfillment). 10-50% travel may be required to perform training and to preside over supplier round table events
Responsibilities
Service
- Responds to and resolves user issues (Monument and Supplier)
- Ensure supplier compliance with client procurement policies, guidelines, contracts, insurance requirements, and processes
- Conduct client and supplier training on program requirements/processes
- Contribute to and participate in Client Business Reviews to provide supplier scoring and audit findings
- Create / Support supplier performance scorecards and creates supplier performance corrective action plans
- Schedule and produce program update decks (as needed or as part of change management)
- Onboard/offboard suppliers through full contract redlining and execution as appropriate
- Perform all Supplier Management Activities in accordance with agreed upon SLAs
- Recommend and/or implement best practices based on feedback received directly from Suppliers or survey results
Supplier Partnership
- Cultivate a solid working relationship with our supplier partners through leading Scorecard Reviews and Supplier Round Tables
- Conduct Supplier user training on program rules of engagement
- Conduct/Participate in Supplier Scorecard Sessions
- Coach and mentor suppliers to elevate program performance
- Lead/consult on worker audits and remediation with Suppliers
- Initiate and support onboarding, tracking, and documentation for new suppliers
Additional Skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks - prioritization, planning and delegation
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship management, relationship building, interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, influence and motivate others
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to "think on your feet"
- Must have the ability to generate insights from supplier scorecard metrics; analyze data and make recommendations
- Ability to work both strategically and tactically and develop new processes to drive efficiencies
- Ability to refine, organize and manage contract process
- Understanding of basic Procurement/Supply Chain processes or working experience with negotiations
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years Professional Experience with supplier/vendor contracts preferred
- 1-3+ years MSP-VMS experience or equivalent technologies
- 5+ years supplier partnership management or equivalent experience required
- College Degree or equivalent work experience
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and demonstrated proficiency

Pay Range
USD $61,000.00 - USD $67,000.00 /Yr.
