Overview
Evergreen's Talent Services Practice is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Solution team. This role will be critical in the following:
- managing a dynamic pipeline of pursuits corresponding to specific Talent Service offerings,
- growing Talent Service's portfolio through net new engagements,
- ensuring solution strategy and best practices are consistently followed,
- maturing existing offerings and operationalizing new offerings,
- supporting the Practice's implementation and delivery teams to drive client success and
- providing operational management and mentorship to other members of the Solution team (this includes Solution Analysts, Sr. Solution Analysts and Solution Associates).
The Solution Architect should be a thought-leader within Professional Services, Client or Talent Management, Recruitment Management Services, and/or Project Management Services space(s) and have demonstrated experience working directly with prospective and current clients to understand current challenges, apply thoughtful and comprehensive solutions and drive the future state vision. The Solution Architect will have demonstrated experience fostering and strengthening strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams or across the broader Insight Global enterprise (ex. Account Management, Recruitment, Operations, etc).

The Solution Architect will work closely with sales, implementation, delivery and Practice Leadership to ensure all proposed solutions are reflective of best practices and are providing the business outcomes our clients expect. Further, the Solution Architect will be responsible and accountable for driving revenue growth and financial performance for their respective service tower within the practice.
Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect, you report directly to the Director of Solutions for the Talent Services practice and will support specific service offerings or services tower within the practice. The Solution Architect is expected to be capable of driving the development, sales and implementation of applicable services as an individual contributor. The Solution Architect will play a central role in selling and closing deals and will be responsible and accountable for the financial performance of their respective service offering.
Sales and Solution Design & Proposal Development
- Regular collaboration with sales personnel to ensure your respective pipeline is healthy and effectively managed.
- Demonstrated ability to generate demand for your respective service offering.
- Serve in a Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer capacity: guiding clients through capabilities, solution design, and proposed outcomes.
- Build proposals with the support of Solution Analysts/Sr. Analysts, including solution narratives, roadmaps, SOW components, and cost models.
- Partner with Evergreen sales personnel throughout the pursuit lifecycle for each unique opportunity (as further defined below).
- Pursuit Lifecycle responsibilities:
- Intake Evaluation - Collaborate with Evergreen sales personnel to evaluate the quality of new intakes and determine if an intake should be pursued or vetted-out.
- Scoping - Participate in discovery activities with prospective clients to determine service requirements. Confirm client's requirements align to existing capabilities.
- Solution Development - Evaluate requirements from discovery efforts and apply specific solutions to the prospective client's needs / expected outcomes. Successfully translate technical requirements into layman's terms for client consumption. Develop effective collateral to communicate your proposed solution / approach.
- Solution Presentation - Partner with Evergreen sales and Insight Global Account Management personnel to effectively present/deliver proposed solution/approach.
The Solution Architect is expected to be proficient at sales-oriented communications during this phase of the lifecycle.
Contracting and Delivery Support
- Responsible for drafting, negotiating and executing statements of work (SOW) for awarded engagements. Each phase of the contracting process will include collaboration between sales, solutions, and Director of Solutions.
- Accountable for ensuring all requirements and timelines are met for each awarded engagement.
- Responsible for transferring pursuit knowledge and supporting implementation activities in conjunction with the Evergreen Delivery team and Implementation team, the owners of implementation.
- Maintain regular communications with applicable Delivery personnel during the awarded engagement and support escalations as necessary.
- Partner with Delivery personnel to create impactful customer Quarterly Business Reviews for active engagements.
- Drive consistent and impactful collaboration between solutions and delivery personnel through the engagement lifecycle to ensure your prescribed approach aligns with Delivery best practices.
Service Offering Maturation and Growth
- Regular collaboration with Solutions team, Director of Solutions and Delivery Leadership to drive service maturation and thought leadership. Ensure service maturation and growth strategies align with the broader practice strategy.
- Regular collaboration Director of Solutions and Evergreen Sales to identify opportunities and implement enhancements for applicable service offerings. This can include process improvements, technology investments, headcount investments, etc.
- Regular collaboration with Delivery Leadership to ensure applicable playbooks are updated regularly and consistently reflect best practices.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a pipeline of active pursuits and ability to sell services effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to translate abstract business challenges into structured, value-driven solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and strategic storytelling.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders to assess needs, shape solutions, and drive outcomes.
- Experience designing and maturing service offerings in professional services, managed services, or relevant domains.
- Ability to explain relevant concepts and value creation to prospective clients in a way that builds credibility and trust.
- Strong meeting presence with the ability to command a room when leading interactions with both internal personnel and clients (both prospective and current).
- Experienced in creating best practices and corresponding deliverables in accordance with industry standards
- Strong customer presence and ability to impact presentations, Quarterly Business Reviews and the overall customer experience.
- Understanding of broader Insight Global or partner ecosystems
- Knowledge of key business drivers that can accelerate or prevent desired organizational outcomes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in professional services environments or program/project management.
- Proven success in revenue-generating or client-facing consulting roles.
- Background mentoring or developing junior team members.
