Senior Software Engineer (Atlanta, GA, or other unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.).
Overview
Our team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: Initial setup of the project for the three environments DEV, QA and PROD, procurement of the resources like PCF server instances, MS SQL database instances, SMTP server, ADFS services, GIT instances, CREDHub. Coordinate with various Ford internal teams like network, Security to make necessary permissions and exceptions, whitelisting. Code maintenance and deployment using the CI/CD tool Jenkins across all the environments. Manage the team members, their roles, and permissions to access Git. Develop scripts and implement Ford Security based recommendations. Work with ADFS, OAuth 2.0, Google SSO, CovisInt, AMA and other internal authorization systems. Play the role of a team lead in developing few of the modules - lead a group of few developers with activities involving code review, code optimization and performance enhancement, design, development, POCs, testing and deployment. Develop few modules and functionalities in Angular and Spring. Created and modified few Stored procedures. Participate in Client/ Supplier calls to gather requirements, bug fixes, knowledge transfer, user training, onboarding, client support. Participate in daily stand ups, internal design and status meetings. Responsible for maintenance and performance tuning of various infrastructure systems like PCF servers databases by log analysis, additional resource procurement, load testing, stress testing, etc. Prepare documentation of Help resources, User trainings and manuals for few modules.
Knowledge transfer for the new team members, project induction and assist in environment set up so they can be productive in the least possible time. Support team management activities and architecture team in tasks allocation, resource management, preparing architecture diagrams and other internal documentations. Use tools such as Angular, Springboot, Spring DAO, MS SQL, Spring MVC, Spring Security, PCF, Jenkins, etc. Telecommuting permitted.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field, 60 months of experience as Senior Software Engineer, Senior Software Developer, Software Engineer, or a similar position, and 36 months experience in: Java, Spring Boot, PL-SQL, Servlet, JSP, JDBC, JSTL, and Struts 1.3. 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 am - 5:00 p
