Overview

Responsible for assisting the Corporate Senior Safety Manager with the oversight and
implementation of the company's nationwide safety and health program. The Evergreen Safety
Manager is primarily responsible for an assigned regional area(s) and will oversee Evergreen Safety
Programs. This position provides management, coordination, and technical expertise in all areas of
safety, health, and environmental compliance. This position assists in the development and
administration of safety policies and procedures, initiatives, and training programs to ensure that
safety policies and practices are followed consistently. The Evergreen Safety Manager will review and
assist in establishing business risk for staffing and oversight of remote jobsite employees

Responsibilities

• Attend all job pre-bid Safety plans to aid in determining hazards associated with each project
• Track & complete for distribution OSHA 300 logs

• Lead and communicate with Onsite Safety Lead
• Oversee Jobsite Safety Audits, Accident & Near miss investigations
• Develop Weekly Safety Toolbox Talks with video & Lessons Learned
• Continually upgrade jobsite information and develop and implement safety plans
• Responsible for Disciplinary actions if warranted
• Establish current & archived databases (on Origami) for all jobsite safety data, accidents, drug screens, PFT's, Near misses, SIF's
• Develop and conduct training programs for existing and new policies and procedures
• Available 24/7 to respond to all Company related incidents, accidents, liabilities
• Monitor projects in all States with potential monthly site visits as required.
• Respond and reply to all OSHA related citations.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
• 3-5 years safety experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field of study required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and applicable federal, state, local and company safety
regulations.
• High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
• Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Proficiency in Origami safety software
• Local to Atlanta, GA

Physical Demands - Work is performed both in office and field settings. Employee is frequently
required to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Employee
may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee will also engage in indoor and outdoor safety
training that requires physical dexterity, balance, and fitness. Clear vision and depth perception are
also necessary.

In addition to physical requirements, employee must be sharp, focused, and alert when conducting
his or her job duties and participating in employee safety trainings. This includes possessing the
mental aptitude, cognition, concentration, and state of mind necessary to perform his or her job
duties, with negligible distractions that could jeopardize employee's work productivity, quality of
work, and safety to self and others.

Travel Requirements - This position requires up to 25% travel (local, national).
