Overview

Telecommunications & Network Technology ABOUT THIS ROLE We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to lead complex programs across our telecom customer portfolio. This role requires an experienced professional with strong technical program management expertise and a proven track record of delivering successful projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting telecommunications organizations and leading programs across Network Technology, Network Infrastructure, Engineering, Operations, Cloud, Data, AI, and Applications teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage PI planning, managing & creating JIRA stories, attending & leading standups with T-Mobile Leadership
  • Manage onshore & offshore teams
  • Lead and coordinate programs supporting telecommunications customers, including network modernization, engineering, operations, automation, and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain program management processes and best practices.
  • Lead and coordinate program teams of 15-50 members, including both onshore and offshore resources.
  • Provide mentorship to junior program managers and team members.
  • Monitor program budgets and track program metrics and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with Network Technology, Network Infrastructure, Engineering, Product, Operations, Architecture, and Vendor teams to ensure successful program execution.
  • Drive business development initiatives through excellent delivery and client relationship management.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, with at least 3 years leading complex technical programs delivering to customers on deliverable- or outcome-based contracts.
  • Experience in client-facing roles managing program delivery and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven track record of managing teams of 15-50 members.
  • Strong technical background with experience managing software development, data, cloud, infrastructure, or technology programs.
  • 5+ years supporting telecommunications organizations, Network Technology teams, Network Infrastructure teams, Engineering organizations, or Operations teams.
  • Experience leading network, infrastructure, wireless, transport, IP, network operations, or network transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications operating models, network organizations, and technology delivery processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and tracking program financials.
  • Proficiency in implementing program management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience working with both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps and other Agile/Scrum tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a related field.
