Overview
Our team is looking for a Java Engineer.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: Developing and enhancing current software frameworks to support new business requirements. Collaborating with software application teams to troubleshoot complex development problems. Collaborating with architects and business analysts on the design of new software solutions. Collaborating with operations teams in the resolution of software production incidents, and training application teams on the adoption of best practices and tools. Working on a variety of complex distributed systems and the interactions between them. Utilizing Java 8+, Java EE, Springboot, JPA, JMS, SLF4j, servlet, dependency injection, microservices architecture, twelve factor app. Providing test driven software development and object-oriented design with technical documentation in agile development. Working with restful APIs, distributed systems, enterprise integration patterns, log analysis. Utilizing Splunk, AppDynamics, Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Apigee, Linux, Cassandra, MongoDB, DB2, Oracle, IBM MQ, WebSphere Liberty, Apache http server, Jenkins pipelines, bash scripting, groovy scripting, ansible, security scans (Fortify, Sonatype, Webinspect), encryption (Voltage, AES), SSL. Telecommuting permitted

Qualifications
M.S. in Computer Science or closely related. 24 mo. exp as a Software Developer/Engineer. 24 mon. in: Java; Spring Boot; Spring Cloud; Spring Security; Micronaut; REST APIs; Kafka; RabbitMQ; Docker; AWS.
40 hrs/wk. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
