HR Coordinator
Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator supports all HR functions, focusing on leveraging technology and expertise to be trusted advisors to the business, to create deep partnerships and to provide exceptional support to all employees through email, phone, and chat. This fast-paced role involves providing prompt support, addressing workplace issues, and accurately escalating concerns. Key responsibilities include customer service, effective communication, problem solving, and HR operational tasks like unemployment and employee offboarding. This position is both challenging and rewarding, as the HR Department plays a crucial role in nurturing and supporting Insight Global's most important asset - its people - throughout their employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide employee support by responding to general employee inquiries.
- Document inquiries and resolutions in HR service delivery platform.
- Provide first point of contact support for internal and contract employees.
- Escalate inquiries to appropriate HR teams and other departments, as necessary.
- Handle and represent the company in unemployment claims and hearings.
- Support employee pay and timekeeping inquiries.
- Gather necessary employee documents and information.
- Update employee information in databases (ATLIS, eRecruit, Bullhorn, and UKG), including name changes, contact changes, and office transfers.
- Support employment verifications for current and former employees.
- Complete HR mail by supplying employment data.
- Troubleshoot account issues and login requests for HRIS systems.
- Assist with offboarding procedures.
- Provide project support as needed to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (preferred); experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication; effective at managing relationships and sensitive HR matters.
- Skilled in prioritizing, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
- Capable of researching issues and delivering thoughtful solutions.
- Passionate about helping others and creating a welcoming environment.
- Discreet, patient, calm under pressure, and enjoys coaching and advising others.
