AP Transformation Lead

Overview

Insight Global's Consulting division partners with customers to deliver outcome-based projects. We are seeking a Project Controls Analyst to partner with Project Managers and Finance leaders to help develop and expand our project controls framework as our industry and customers evolve.

The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for ensuring financial predictability, transparency, and execution of controls across the full lifecycle of projects. This role partners closely with Delivery, Finance, Sales, and Accounting to monitor project performance, forecast outcomes, mitigate financial risk, and ensure projects are executed in accordance with contractual and financial requirements.

This role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Successful applicants will be comfortable in an organization that is evolving, and ready to participate in shaping that evolution by managing shifting priorities and forging strong partnerships.

Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-4+ years of experience in project controls, FP&A, project management or project accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with financial systems or BI tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams.

• Experience supporting consulting, professional services, or project-based environments.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts and contract-based financial models.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM) or project performance metrics.
• Power BI or similar reporting/dashboard experience.
• Advanced excel knowledge including PowerPivot, Power Queries, and Data Models
