Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Windchill Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PTC Windchill architecture, integration strategies, and PLM best practices. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our digital product lifecycle management landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the Windchill PLM architecture strategy aligned with business goals
- Design scalable and secure Windchill solutions, including module selection, system configuration, and customizations
- Lead end-to-end implementation and upgrade projects, including planning, execution, and post-deployment support
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and support teams
- Oversee integration of Windchill with ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ITAR, ISO, and cybersecurity protocols
- Conduct performance tuning, system health checks, and capacity planning
- Stay current with PTC product roadmap and recommend adoption of new features or technologies

- 13+ years of experience with PTC Windchill, including at least 5 years in an architect or lead role
- Deep understanding of Windchill modules (PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, etc.)
- Strong experience in Windchill customization, Info*Engine, and APIs
- Expertise in system integration using middleware, web services, and APIs
- Proficiency in Java, JSP, XML, and Windchill Business Rules Framework
- Experience with Windchill upgrades and data migrations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Experience with Windchill 12.x and ThingWorx Navigate
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, medical devices)
- PTC certifications (e.g., Windchill Architect, Windchill System Admin) are a plus
