UNIX-SQL Support

Job Description:

Request:

• Fluent English
• Flexible to support during weekends or on-call support.
• Self-Driven and Motivated.
• Experience around 4-8 years minimum.

• 1. Operating Systems: Proficiency in all or any Linux/Unix/Windows environments.
  2. Scripting: Basic knowledge of Shell/Python/PowerShell for automation and log analysis.
  3. Database: Ability to write and debug SQL queries, understanding of RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, Sybase or PostgreSQL.
  4. Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with any tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Pagerduty, WatchTower, Checknanny or AppDynamics.
  5. Ticketing Systems: Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Jira or Remedy for incident and change management.
  6. Networking Basics: Understanding of DNS, IP, firewalls, load balancers, ports etc.

• Experience of working in a global team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to learn rapidly on-the-job.
• Self-motivated, ability to identify and resolve issues with minimal oversight.
• Works well in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Experience in financial services is plus.
• Cloud Application and respective infrastructure Knowledge is a plus.
