As part of a large-scale global transformation, a world-leading FMCG company has partnered with Infosys to redesign and elevate its Global Business Services (GBS) to world-class standards. To support this journey, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Learning & Training Lead to join the Greenfield GBS team in Bucharest. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and driving the learning and capability-building agenda for the site, ensuring employees are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and development opportunities required to deliver high performance and support business growth.
The role will play a critical part in shaping the employee experience through robust onboarding, learning effectiveness programs, capability development initiatives, and strong alignment between training, employee value proposition (EVP), and performance management outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy and annual training calendar aligned with business priorities and workforce capability requirements;
• Drive skill and capability-building initiatives for employees across the site through structured learning interventions and development programs;
• Manage end-to-end training deployment, ensuring timely and effective execution of the learning calendar;
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external training vendors to identify, evaluate, and implement best-in-class learning solutions;
• Manage vendor relationships, training quality, commercial effectiveness, and delivery outcomes to ensure high standards of learning execution;
• Design, develop, and implement a robust onboarding program that enhances employee integration, engagement, and readiness for success;
• Ensure strong onboarding delivery metrics, including employee satisfaction, engagement, and program effectiveness;
• Build and maintain training and learning metrics scorecards to measure program effectiveness, participation, learning outcomes, and business impact;
• Establish robust feedback mechanisms and ensure actionable improvements are implemented based on employee and stakeholder feedback;
• Develop and implement a learning effectiveness framework to evaluate the impact and sustainability of learning interventions;
• Ensure alignment between learning programs, business EVP, organizational culture, and employee engagement objectives;
• Collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to create strong linkages between performance management, capability development, and training initiatives;
• Support the development of high-performance teams through targeted learning and continuous development initiatives;
• Drive continuous improvement in learning processes, tools, methodologies, and employee development experiences.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Strong fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential;
• 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or Capability Building roles;
• Proven experience in developing and deploying learning strategies and training calendars within a fast-paced business environment;
• Strong experience in onboarding program design and employee capability development initiatives;
• Strong analytical skills with experience in learning metrics, reporting, and effectiveness measurement;
• Demonstrated ability to connect learning initiatives with business performance outcomes.
