Infosys is hiring for the Lead Optimal SME
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ottawa, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with 15+ years of experience in the telecom/optical industry.
• Thorough understanding of optical standards related to DWDM and line systems.
• Strong experience in optical technologies and optical line systems, including DWDM, ROADM, amplifiers, Raman, OTDR, DGE, etc.
• Prior experience in the architecture and design of optical/telecom embedded systems.
• Excellent hands-on experience with operating systems, object-oriented design, and C++.
• Ability to define detailed software requirements and system/software architecture, working closely with software architects and designers, based on high-level product requirements for next-generation Optical Line System.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Highly desirable to have the ability or prior experience as a Product Owner (PO) in Scrum teams.
• Highly desirable to have a strong understanding of Agile Scrum and AI.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario- $92740 to $ 123375
