We are looking for an experienced professional with strong expertise in Red Hat Linux and JBoss to drive operational excellence and support enterprise-level environments.
The role involves working closely with technical teams to deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based systems and JBoss middleware platforms. This includes supporting application teams, improving system performance, ensuring stability, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
You will also participate in requirement analysis, solution design, documentation, test execution, and production support activities to ensure seamless delivery and operational efficiency.

Locations for this position: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey (Hybrid mode)

Qualifications - Basic

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

• 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
• Extensive experience with JBoss (EAP/WildFly) installation, configuration, deployment, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Linux system internals, service management, filesystem permissions, packages, and networking.
• Experience troubleshooting JVM issues, application deployment failures, thread/memory bottlenecks, and middleware configuration errors.
• Ability to analyze logs (server.log, boot.log), diagnose application or middleware issues, and implement permanent fixes.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and in Agile delivery teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Understanding of basic firewall rules such as Azure NSG, iptables, firewalld, or cloud security groups.
• Knowledge of ADO (Azure DevOps) and ServiceNow for ticketing, change management, or DevOps pipelines.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting application/database integration.
• Experience with Unix Shell scripting for automation, log parsing, and operational tasks.

• Experience across the software development life cycle, including development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Hands-on involvement in new system implementations or enhancements to existing systems to meet business requirements.
• Experience working in a global delivery model with distributed teams.
