Technology Lead - Full Stack developer

Infosys is seeking a Senior UI / Full Stack Lead for a critical enterprise application undergoing transition. In this role, you will interface with key business and technical stakeholders and apply your expertise across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, application architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. You will play a key role in knowledge transition from existing SMEs, creation of high-level and detailed design artifacts, and delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure UI-centric and full stack solutions. You will lead modernization initiatives, provide technical directions to the team, and ensure seamless integration between UI and backend services. This role is part of a collaborative learning culture that values excellence, teamwork, and diversity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience with strong focus on UI and full stack application development.
  • Hands-on expertise in modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or equivalent, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong backend development experience using Java/J2EE, including Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST/SOAP web services.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in leading end-to-end design and delivery of UI-driven enterprise applications.
  • Experience in providing architectural guidance, design decisions, and code quality.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and cloud-based application deployments.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Solid understanding of application transitions, knowledge transfer, and production support for business-critical systems.
  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience with UI modernization and legacy modernization initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of unit testing and automation testing for UI and backend layers (JUnit, Mockito, UI test frameworks).
  • Experience with API testing and documentation using Postman and Swagger.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana, or ElasticSearch.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding teams of 3 to 5 developers.
  • Domain experience in utilities or regulated enterprise environments.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 92,740 to $ 123,375.
