Infosys is seeking to hire skilled System Administrator/Linux admin required for upgrades and maintenance using AWS Patch manager and fixing security vulnerabilities and having exposure working on Cloud infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NCor willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

- Experience of AWS services (Step functions\ AWS Lambda\ EC2\ Rest APIs \ Kafka, IAM and other AWS cloud services
- Experience in Linux administration (Patching and security operations).
- CI\CD experience / DevSecOps Integration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automate patching processes to minimize application downtime using configuration management tools.
- Identify and remediate system vulnerabilities in compliance with security standards.
- Install, configure, and maintain Unix operating systems on MIS servers and cloud platforms.
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues affecting availability and efficiency.
- Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, user access controls, and regular security patch updates.
- Collaborate with teams to address End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) remediation activities.
- Develop and maintain patching and upgrade schedules for systems and applications.
- Manage data backup and recovery processes, including scheduling, testing, and restoration procedures.
- diagnose and resolve system-related issues promptly to ensure minimal operational disruption
- Strong communication skills
- Working experience on ITIL processes
