Technology Lead

Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead. In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
• Experience in .NET 6/ 6.1 /Core 3.1 Framework with C#, Entity Framework, Angular v13 - v15, or up to date equivalent i.e. React/VUE.
• Experience in Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, database development, Design & development of SSIS packages, writing/executing stored procedures, query optimization and performance turning.
• Knowledge in design and development of REST APIs, Web services and Modern design patterns, architectures, and testing strategies .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional cloud-native Azure technologies i.e. Event Grid, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, App Service, Key Vault, Logic Apps, ARM Templates.
• Experience with git, Azure DevOps, build pipelines, code branching/merging, code management,Azure Functions v3 - v4 .
• Knowledge of Application Monitoring with tools like App Insights or related e xperience writing and executing stored procedures.
• Experience with designing integration applications, both upstream and downstream applications.
• Deep knowledge of Unit Testing and Automation testing and Event driven architecture.
• Experience preferred in React and/or Next.js, Kubernetes and/or Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Experience in implementing security on Azure.
• Expertise with Utility - Commercial will be needed.
• Hands on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and configuring Azure DevOps and pipelines.
• knowledge of ETL tools (ADF would be plus) and Microservice Architecture.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 92,740 to $ 123,375.
