Job Description:
Anchor testing requirements, prepare solution delivery of projects, develop test strategy, track & monitor project plans, review test plans & test cases, ensure optimum test environs are set up, review test scripts, develop project quality plans, validate defective prevention plans WITH an objective of delivering effective testing solutions for clients WITHIN guidelines and norms of the company.
Your responsibilities include but may not be limited to
- Prepare and review system appreciation documents, understand application dependencies, plan shadow support IN ORDER TO complete transition
- Participates in meetings with Onsite Personnel/Clients as the case may be to understand the functional and non-functional requirements for the engagement, understands scope of work to be performed. Analyses the information learnt and prepares test requirement specifications (if required), reads relevant documents, interacts with client SME, undertakes self study and reviews software demos to understand client business and clients requirements IN ORDER TO capture the functional and non-functional requirements in scope of the delivery
- Creates the Test Strategy for the project from the test requirements, reviews effort estimates for project execution, seeks review from respective manager IN ORDER to complete strategy definition of the project
- Reviews the detailed schedule for a work packet and provide inputs to overall project schedule IN ORDER to ensure on time delivery of the project
- Develops test plan for complex modules, Provides review feedback for test plans, Reviews all the risks and mitigations identified, develops action plan for all the risks identified in the test plan, seeks support from test manager for mitigation of the risks involved IN ORDER to complete test plan design
- Ensures that the test environment is provided by the client, Provides necessary review feedback for test data setup, develops action plan for all the risks identified in the test plan, seeks support from test manager for mitigation of the risks involved IN ORDER to commencement of test execution
- Develops action plan for the risks identified, seeks support from test manager for mitigation of the risks involved IN ORDER to commence test execution for manual testing projects and test scripting for automation/performance testing projects
- Review test scripts periodically to ensure robustness and coverage IN ORDER to commence test execution
- Reviews relevant data on metrics based on request. Prepares metrics for module that he/she is responsible for IN ORDER TO support metrics management
- Reviews the complete execution, develops and tracks action plan for any risks and their mitigation during test execution IN ORDER TO identify defects in the application
- Validates go live activities such as production verification IN ORDER TO ensure that the application runs in the production environment without any issues
- Reviews closure report and submits to respective stakeholders, overall status and seeks sign-off for small projects IN ORDER TO support closure
- Mentors the team. Provides performance feedback of the individual team members to Project Manager IN ORDER TO manage performance
- rains team members on project processes and provides inputs on process tailoring and quality goals, Anchors DP activities for large projects IN ORDER TO finalize project quality plan
- Participate in estimation, staffing analysis and solutioning IN ORDER TO provide inputs for preparing solution delivery of the proposal
- Interface with customer for issue resolution, provide status updates, Build customer confidence in teams ability to deliver IN ORDER TO support high customer satisfaction </li><li> Build repository of teams collective knowledge, Seek information and leverage knowledge from other projectsIN ORDER TO drive higher efficiency and effectiveness and preserve organization knowledge
- Performs review of the solution development and unit test results IN ORDER TO commence testing of the solution developed

Required
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
- At least 10 years of experience in the job description below.
- Insurance domain knowledge, Specifically Annuity products
- Knowledge of Industry fundamentals, trends and processes
- Knowledge of Test Planning Methods/Tools, Test Environment Setup Methods, Test Scripting Methods/Tools
