JOB DESCRIPTION: -
Role Overview:
The Project Specialist - Enterprise Telecom Delivery is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of enterprise telecom services, ensuring timely fulfillment, SLA adherence, and high customer satisfaction. This role acts as a central coordinator across multiple internal and external stakeholders, driving smooth execution of service delivery projects from order initiation through completion.
The role requires a strong understanding of telecom service fulfillment processes, excellent project coordination skills, and the ability to proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and improve delivery efficiency. Technical knowledge of networking and SD-WAN solutions is an added advantage to effectively engage with engineering and provisioning teams.

Work Arrangement:

  • Full-time role within telecom service delivery / PMO organization
  • Primarily office-based or hybrid, depending on business requirements
  • Standard business hours with flexibility to support critical delivery milestones
  • Regular interaction with cross-functional teams including provisioning, engineering, service assurance, sales, and customers
Roles and Responsibilities:
Order Management & Service Delivery
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute enterprise telecom service delivery projects
  • Manage the complete order lifecycle from order acceptance through fulfillment and closure
  • Oversee order validation, provisioning, testing, and service delivery activities
  • Ensure delivery timelines meet agreed SLAs and contractual commitments
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery roadblocks to minimize delays
  • Track dependencies and ensure readiness across all stakeholders
Stakeholder & Communication Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers
  • Facilitate regular communication, including status updates, progress reports, and escalation handling
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and dashboards
  • Ensure transparency on risks, milestones, and delivery progress
Risk, Process & Performance Management
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints at early stages
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delivery impact
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
    • Delivery cycle time
    • SLA compliance
    • On-time service activation
    • Customer satisfaction metrics
  • Support automation initiatives and process improvement programs
  • Contribute to standardization, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Technical Coordination (Added Advantage)
  • Leverage technical understanding to support discussions with engineering and provisioning teams
  • Review technical inputs related to routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and SD-WAN solutions
  • Support service delivery involving Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco, and Juniper technologies
  • Understand and validate services involving:
    • IP/MPLS and Ethernet services
    • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
    • Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP)
    • IP services (IPv4/IPv6, VPN, QoS, SNMP)
    • Wireless LAN solution
Essential:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in network and Business support.
  • Solid hands-on expertise across core networking disciplines including Routing, Switching, SD-WAN, Network Security, and Infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of telecom service fulfillment and delivery processes
  • Proven experience managing enterprise customer projects in the telecom domain
  • Hands-on experience managing medium to large-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies:
  • Agile
  • Waterfall
  • Hybrid models
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using project and service management tools: MS Project,JIRA,, ServiceNow (preferred)
Reporting and dashboard tools
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in a Telco or ISP environment is highly regarded and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Strong technical understanding of networking and SD-WAN solutions
  • Ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with telecom automation and process optimization initiatives
  • PMP or PRINCE2 - Project Management
  • CCNA / CCNP / JNCIA - Networking and technical proficiency
