About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal - IFS Enterprise Asset Management to lead complex IFS implementations and drive transformational value in asset-intensive environments. This role is ideal for a seasoned IFS practitioner who combines deep functional expertise with leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across business and IT.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners, guiding the design, optimization, and adoption of IFS cloud and on-premise EAM capabilities. This position requires a strong understanding of end-to-end asset lifecycle processes and hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and sustaining the IFS platform.

Opportunity Details

  • Lead mid-to-large-scale IFS EAM programs across Energy and Utilities Industry.
  • Shape asset management strategies that leverage best practices, automation, mobility, and predictive capabilities within the IFS ecosystem.
  • Work with a global, cross-functional team of consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Influence future product direction by collaborating with IFS solution architects and product teams.

Leadership
  • Provide leadership to functional teams, project managers, solution architects, and technical specialists.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level consultants to build strong internal IFS capabilities.
  • Drive business stakeholder alignment, steering committees, and executive-level communications.
  • Represent the organization as an IFS subject matter expert in executive discussions, shaping both business and technology strategy.
  • Champion governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across all IFS initiatives.
Strategy
  • Develop and execute IFS EAM strategy aligned with enterprise asset management goals and digital transformation priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize asset lifecycle processes using IFS capabilities such as Maintenance, Asset Performance Management (APM), Work Management, Scheduling & Planning, and Mobility.
  • Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices for IFS cloud migrations and upgrades.
  • Lead roadmap creation, process harmonization, and solution blueprinting.
  • Integrate IFS with enterprise systems (ERP, GIS, SCADA, EHS, Finance, Supply Chain) to deliver connected and scalable digital platforms.

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of IFS EAM implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

  • Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
    • 12-15 years of hands-on experience with IFS Applications / IFS Cloud, with at least 5+ years focused on EAM modules.
    • Demonstrated experience leading full lifecycle IFS implementations in asset-intensive industries.
    • Strong knowledge of asset management standards, maintenance strategies, and reliability principles (e.g., ISO 55000, RCM, TPM).
    • Ability to translate business needs into scalable, effective IFS solutions.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Information Systems.
    • Certification in IFS EAM or related IFS Cloud modules.
    • Experience with IFS Cloud migration programs.
    • Background in asset-heavy sectors such as Energy, Oil & Gas, Utilities.
    • Familiarity with integration technologies and tools (APIs, middleware, REST/SOAP services).
    • Understanding of predictive maintenance technologies (IoT, condition-based monitoring, analytics).
    • Prior consulting or advisory experience with global clients.
    • Experience managing multi-location or global delivery teams.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • An MBA with an advanced degree or equivalent experience in Utilities, business, analytic,
    • Strong client facing skills including presentations to senior leadership, advice and consult with clients.
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, integrate and deliver informatics and business intelligence projects.
    • Understanding issues related to data analysis in Utilities Provider/Payer industry.
    • Strong planning, coordination, analytical and communication skills.
    • Ability to derive insight and infer business implications from data.
    • Familiarity with fundamental financial, performance, and quality measures used in health care industry.
    • Familiarity with statistics and advanced methods such as AI/Machine Learning preferred
    • Ability to provide guidance to stakeholders in understanding business value of the initiative.
    • Ability to interface with customers and other stakeholders with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to complete project, with demonstrated commitment to meeting deliverables.
    • Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks and self-manage.
    Estimated annual compensation will be $241,000 - $300,000
