Infosys Consulting's Consumer Goods, Retail and Logistics Practice is seeking a Functional SAP PP Consultant at a Senior Consultant Level to join its growing practice in Mexico.

About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to different phases of an engagement including client identification, launch, delivery and closure; help establish client relationships, lead and contribute in conceptualizing innovative solutions based on anticipated needs of the industry; participate in and contribute to various team-level, practice-level and organizational-level initiatives; proactively look for client issues and develop new ideas and present to clients after leadership approval to generate or influence new sales; contribute and at times lead and act as SMEs in sale pursuits with the objective of ensuring the highest level of engagement management within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys Consulting.

• Lead and support end-to-end functional consulting engagements for CPG clients, from business process assessment through solution design and deployment.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, translating CPG business requirements into SAP functional solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution walkthroughs with business and IT teams.

• Demonstrate strong understanding of CPG core processes, including:
  • Demand and supply planning
  • Manufacturing and production execution
  • Inventory management
  • Warehousing and distribution
• Identify process gaps and recommend SAP-enabled improvements aligned with industry best practices.

• Provide functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and/or SAP Warehouse Management (WM), including:
  • PP: BOMs, routings, production orders, MRP, capacity planning, shop floor execution
  • WM: inbound/outbound processes, inventory movements, storage types/bins, picking and putaway strategies
• Support SAP configuration, functional specifications, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, enhancements, and issue resolution.

• Work effectively with cross-functional and global teams in a consulting delivery model.
• Support junior consultants through functional guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to solution documentation, process flows, and client deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of CPG Industry experience
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP Functional consulting experience in PP and/or EWM modules.
• English level 80-90%.

• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations (all phases) of a package implementation lifecycle .
• Experience with Package Implementation Methodology and key deliverables .
• Is willing to travel 4 days a week to different locations within the United States, México, and LATAM.

• Functional Consulting / Business Analysis experience in Consumer Goods and Manufacturing industries.
• At least 5+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PPPI) and EWM modules.
• At least 7+ years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
• A proven track record of leading and managing small, global, and local teams.
• Team Lead and key contributor in Process Streams / Functional Areas.
• Experience interacting with client executives; ability to influence at the leadership level.
• Good Knowledge in integration aspects with other modules MM, EWM, WM, CO and SDSAP product certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of S/4 HANA simplifications in logistics area will be an added advantage.
