Sourcing & Procurement Specialist with German
Currently we are looking for a candidate for the position of:
Sourcing & Procurement Specialist with German
Location: Sibiu or Bucharest (hybrid 3/2)
Responsibilities:
Managing end-to-end spot buying requests, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services to meet business requirements
Conducting RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and evaluating supplier quotations to identify the best commercial offer
Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for the business
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers while monitoring their responsiveness and performance.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders (requestors, finance, logistics, operations) to understand purchasing requirements and resolve procurement issues

Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approved sourcing practices
Identifying sourcing opportunities and supporting cost-reduction initiatives through supplier benchmarking and market analysis
Requirements:
Approximately 2/3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain, with exposure to RFQ/RFP processes and supplier management
Knowledge of English and German at C1 level - essential for client communication purposes
Higher education
Knowledge of procurement processes and sourcing methodology, including quotation analysis, supplier selection, and purchase order management
Experience with procurement and ERP systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or similar purchasing platforms
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to compare supplier quotations, identify savings opportunities, and make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
