Role Summary
This hybrid bilingual Business Analyst + Scrum Master role combines analytical, requirement-gathering responsibilities with Agile facilitation and team coaching. The individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the development team while ensuring delivery excellence through Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements (business, functional, and non-functional).
- Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, BRDs/FSDs as needed.
- Conduct requirements workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand business needs.
- Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritization, and maintaining clarity of requirements.
- Perform impact assessments, gap analysis, and feasibility analysis for new initiatives.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate understanding and alignment on requirements.
- Support UAT preparation and execution, including test scenario reviews and defect triage.
Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies:
- Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Retrospective, Backlog Refinement.
- Coach the team on Agile values, principles, and Scrum practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor and report on team metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time) for transparency and predictability.
- Shield the team from external distractions and manage unplanned work effectively.
- Support cross-team collaboration and coordination in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe experience preferred but not mandatory).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching development teams.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, etc.
- Ability to create process flows, diagrams, and analysis artifacts using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting UAT and end-to-end delivery processes.
