In the role of Senior Principal - Smart Manufacturing transformation leader, you will engage with the decision makers in the client ecosystem especially on the Engineering and Manufacturing side to position our services & solutions; engage with the business stakeholders / IT & Digital leaders in the program to build long term relationships
As an orchestrator, you will lead transformational Smart Manufacturing projects from beginning to end to deliver key business outcomes such as: internal productivity, sustainability, customer experience, cost reduction, or flexibility. You will engage with on-site Business and IT stakeholders to drive consensus and coordinate all project's work streams (such as: Development / Configuration, Organization & Change Management, Value Realization, etc.). You will work closely with the globally distributed development team to mitigate risks and maximize project's outcomes for the client.
As an advisor, you should be comfortable working with our clients on their transformation strategies. You will analyze sites capabilities, infrastructure, people, etc. and identify gaps by focusing on not only increasing short-term performance, but also meeting their long-term strategic objectives. You will be conversant with the market trends, partner ecosystems and competitive strategies. You will have direct experience in areas such as:
• Product Development / Engineering - PLM, Digital Thread / Digital Twin, AR/VR
• Manufacturing Planning & Engineering - Programming & Simulation, Advanced Manufacturing
• Factory Operations - MES, Operational Excellence, Connected Workforces, Connected Operations
Apart from above, you will be conversant with basic concepts on Sales and sales support, IoT, Master Data Management, Analytics & AI and its relevance to core fundamentals of Industry 4.0.

Required Qualifications
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 15-18 years of increasing responsibility and track record of success in a consultative or industry relevant role in Engineering or Manufacturing transformation strategy and execution

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in PLM / MES / IoT transformation programs, leveraging leading package solutions
Business / Enterprise level project and program management experience, with demonstrated proficiency in delivering quality results on-time and in-full. Agile and Scrum expertise.
Experience in verticals industries, with focus on Industrial Products, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Food & Beverage, Pharma, Chemicals / Oil & Gas
• Technical aptitude, critical thinking abilities, excellent communication skills, and adaptability
• Experience in interacting with Change Management teams to drive end-user's adoption
• Experience in successfully delivering projects in Client's Matrix environments
• Experience in working in a Global delivery environment
• Experience in working alongside the Sales team to manage the senior client buyers and solution owners (e.g. COO, CTO, CIO)
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
