Location : Melbourne, Australia

Salary: AUD 150,742- 171,215 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

Principal Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, ITAM, Application Portfolio Mgmt, Service Catalog workflows, ITIL processes, UI/UX within ServiceNow platform and integrations with external systems

• Implement technology specific best practices and standards.

• Gather and Translate functional & technical requirements into implementation work package

• Design and develop ServiceNow data model to support process integrations, ITAM & CMDB

• Design and develop forms, views, ACL, rules (client side / server side), notifications etc based on business requirement

• Design and develop integrations using the best option available in ServiceNow, not limiting to JDBC, Web Service Based, Email, File etc

• Manage traceability of releases, versions and code sets

• Provide support during UAT and testing

• Understanding and using SDLC methodologies (Agile / waterfalls)

• Produces and maintains detailed system documentation including design specs, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, disaster recovery, tech notes, and testing, etc

• Assists in development of project estimates, contributes to defining project timelines, project plans and milestones

• Instructs, assigns, reviews the work of other team members, including the review of high-level designs, detail designs, code, and test plans and results

• Mentors and coaches other team members, facilitates individual team member development of technical, functional, and industry skills

• Evaluation new features and produce comprehensive analysis and recommendations.

• Provide 2nd/3rd level ServiceNow support, resolve incidents.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years overall experience in implementing ITIL, Enterprise Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management

• At least 4 years of experience with ServiceNow

• Strong working knowledge in all aspects of ServiceNow Applications development

• Strong working knowledge in each of the following: ServiceNow, JavaScript, web services, JDBC, distributed computing and object orientated methodologies

• Strong working knowledge in UI (HTML5, XML, CSS) and CMS expertise in SNOW

• Design and development of RDBMS systems with Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL etc

• Familiarity with Unix, Linux, Shell Scripting

• Practical experience with agile methodologies/tools

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical solutions in the terms of the business

• Experience in working with multi-vendor development environment

• Interacts cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization and collaborates well with other groups, voluntarily shares information

• Experience of working with ServiceNow platform for global customers

• Experience of performance compliant design, sustainable solution architecture

• Integrations (Web services, REST API's)
