Your role

We are seeking a Senior Web Analytics Expert at Senior Consultant level to lead advanced analytics implementations and data-driven strategies for enterprise clients. This role requires deep expertise in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), combined with hands-on coding skills for custom tracking and development. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring accurate data collection, robust governance, and actionable insights that drive business growth.

Must Have:

Analytics Implementation & Tag Management

• 5-8 years of experience in web analytics implementation and support.
• Strong expertise in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
• Configure and maintain Google Analytics (GA4) properties, data streams, and event tracking.
• Implement and manage Google Tag Manager containers, tags, triggers, and variables for web and app environments.
• Hands-on coding experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom tag development.
• Develop and deploy custom JavaScript and HTML tags for advanced tracking requirements.
• Experience implementing data layers and debugging complex tracking setups, DOM manipulation, and debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Tag Assistant).
• Experience of Google BigQuery , SQL , and data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Power BI).

Data Quality & Advance Debugging

• Monitor system performance using analytics tools and generating actionable insights.
• Validate and troubleshoot analytics implementations using tools like Tag Assistant, GA Debugger, and browser DevTools.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Infrastructure) to ensure smooth deployments.
• Work with developers to implement data layers and ensure proper integration with GTM.
• Participate in change management processes for analytics deployments.
• Document solutions, processes, and troubleshooting guides for knowledge sharing.

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of experience in web analytics, including 3+ years in a senior or consulting role in web analytics implementation and support.
• Experience with server-side tagging on GCP and GTM Server Container .
• Familiarity with marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and campaign tracking.
• Exposure to incident/problem management frameworks (ITIL).
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data visualization and reporting tools.
• Google certifications: Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) or Google Tag Manager or Google Marketing Platform.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and CMP integrations
• Understanding of observability tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic)
