Infosys is seeking a Senior Technology SAP ABAP Architect with RAP

As a Senior Technology Architect, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • This position will be based in Pomona, CA and may require travel to client / project location/s.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 11+ years of experience in SAP technologies, with a strong focus on SAP ABAP and cloud-based solutions.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in RAP (RESTful Application Programming).
  • Successfully completed at least two end-to-end implementations.
  • Must have experience in RAP, ABAP for HANA.
  • Experience with SAP integration tools such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or SAP API Management.
  • Experience with new age skills like clean core methodology, flexible workflow, extensibility options like In App, Developer and side by side extensibility.
  • Experience with designing and developing user-friendly interfaces and user experience principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation will be an advantage.
  • Experience of at least 3 end-to-end lifecycle implementation activities including:
    • Requirement gathering
    • Business process design
    • SAP configuration
    • RICEFW Technical design
    • Systems and Integration Testing
    • Resolving production issues
  • Strong Client Facing experience, great communication and presentations skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work in advanced excel based data analysis
  • Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore
  • Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including offshore overlaps twice a day
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
