Role: Senior Systems Engineer - IT Service Management (3A)
Role Overview:
As Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our internal team, ensuring the smooth operation of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications. In addition to resolving escalated desktop issues, you will leverage your basic server and network knowledge to troubleshoot and address related issues. You will also contribute to vulnerability management activities and ITSM processes to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network L1 experience in managing Cisco switches and network devices.
- Provide second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, escalating as needed.
- Administer and maintain servers, including installation, configuration, and patch management.
- Assist with network troubleshooting and configuration tasks.
- Participate in vulnerability management activities, including scanning, remediation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement ITSM best practices and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing and process improvement.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives, contributing to design, implementation, and testing efforts.

-Strong knowledge on ITIL process
Requirements:
- Strong experience in vulnerability management including scanning, remediation, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support, with a strong understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of server administration, including Windows Server and/or Linux.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and practices.
- Understanding of IT Service Management principles and ITIL framework.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
