Senior Scrum Consultant

Infosys is seeking Senior Scrum Consultant. As a Senior Scrum Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience

  • Location for this position is New York, NY. This position may require travel to project/client location.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The Scrum Master leads and facilitates key Scrum events like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives
  • Coach the development team on self-organization, cross-functionality, and continuous improvement.
  • Helps the Product Owner understand and manage the product backlog, prioritize items, and effectively communicate with the team.
  • A core responsibility is identifying and removing any obstacles that hinder the team's progress towards their sprint goals.
  • The Scrum Master ensures the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices, helping them stay focused on delivering value
  • ensure effective communication between the team, the Product Owner, and other stakeholders.
  • Hybrid (Waterfall/Agile) delivery.
  • Identifying and resolving impediments, blockers, analyzing risks, and implementing actionable mitigation and solutions.
  • Cultivated and strengthened strategic relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers to gain buy-in and drive organizational change.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to prioritize effectively in complex, shifting environments.
  • Flexible and resilient in navigating uncertainties, dependencies, and evolving priorities, consistently delivering high-impact outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, fostering trust and transparency among teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Skilled at motivating teams, leading cross-functional collaboration, and driving alignment to organizational goals.
  • Transparent and adaptable leadership style, inspiring diverse and cross-cultural teams to achieve exceptional results.
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
