Senior SAP PP Consultant (AMS | ECC & S/4HANA)Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP PP Consultant (10+ years) with strong expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, focused on end-to-end Production Planning processes, incident resolution, and implementation projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the full lifecycle, combined with AMS support capabilities, working in a global delivery model with fluent English communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support in SAP PP within AMS environments, including
- Incident resolution (L2/L3 support)
- Service requests and enhancements
- Root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Manage and support end-to-end Production Planning (PP) processes, including:
- Demand management and planning
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Production orders and execution
- Capacity planning and scheduling
- Participate in SAP PP implementation projects, covering:
- Requirements gathering (Fit/Gap analysis)
- Configuration and customization
- Testing cycles (Unit Test, SIT, UAT)
- Data migration
- Cutover, Go-Live and Hypercare
- Analyze and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with global teams (onshore/offshore) for issue resolution and delivery coordination.
- Design and maintain functional specifications for developments (RICEFW).
- Ensure integration with other modules:
- MM (procurement)
- SD (sales demand)
- QM (quality)
- CO (costing)
- Support continuous improvement and optimization of planning processes in AMS landscape.
Required Qualifications
- +10 years of experience as SAP PP Consultant.
- Proven experience in:
- SAP ECC and S/4HANA PP
- AMS support environments (incident-driven)
- End-to-end implementations
- Strong expertise in:
- Production Planning Process end-to-end
- MRP, demand planning, production execution
- Manufacturing and plant operations
- Hands-on experience in:
- Configuration and troubleshooting
- Incident resolution and stabilization
- Integration with logistics and finance modules
Technical Skills
- SAP PP (ECC & S/4HANA)
- Strong knowledge in:
- MRP / Planning strategies
- Production orders and execution
- Demand management and long-term planning
- Integration knowledge:
- MM, SD, QM, CO
- Experience with:
- Data migration tools (LSMW / Migration Cockpit)
- Interfaces and integrations
- AMS tools (ServiceNow, JIRA)
