Job Description
As our Senior QA Engineer, you are the guardian of quality across our entire platform. You don't just find bugs; you build the strategy and processes to prevent them. Blending deep technical expertise with a strategic vision, you will be responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user experience.
Your Role
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will act as the guardian of product quality across platforms. You will define and drive QA strategy, ensure high standards of reliability and performance, and embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
You will:
- Define and implement a risk-based QA strategy balancing manual and automated testing
- Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks (UI, API, performance)
- Lead root-cause analysis and collaborate closely with development teams
- Champion a quality-first mindset across agile teams
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices
- Ensure seamless integration of QA processes within CI/CD pipelines
Required
- strong proficiency in French and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Mandatory onsite work: 3 days per week at the customer office in Toulouse, France.
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Strong API testing experience using Postman or similar tools
- Proficiency in JavaScript or Python
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes
Preferred
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise applications
- Exposure to performance and security testing
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Prior experience mentoring or leading QA activities
- Experience working with distributed or global teams
